Newcastle Jets defender Nikolai Topor-Stanley has been named the 2010/11 Player of the Year.
The 25-year old centre-half capped a career best season by winning the award for his impressive performances at the heart of the Jets defence.
Topor-Stanley played 28 games this season as he staked his claim as one of the best central defenders in the A-League.
Last night's awards night also saw Sam Gallaway take out the Young Player of the Year whilst Hayley Crawford was awarded the Women's Player of the Year.
The Jets also said goodbye to CEO John Tsatsimas who has ended his four-year tenure with the Hunter club.
