Top-half finish a major reality for Fulham - Hangeland

Fulham defender Brede Hangeland feels a top-ten finish this season is highly attainable.

The Cottagers sit eighth on the table on 36 points following the weekend's 5-0 win over Wolves - and two wins prior to that - and now the Norwegian is targeting survival before kicking on to produce a finish in the top half of the table.

"We have three wins in a row and obviously we'll try and keep that going as long as we can. We're confident, we're in good form and we'll try and keep it going," he told the club's official website.

"Our goal has been the same all season, to try to get to 40 points and hopefully we will manage that as soon as possible and just to collect as many points as we can and see where that brings us.

"We remember last year when we were close to relegation around Christmas and ended up eighth so it's all about full steam ahead right until the end of the season."
