Barcelona are the most followed football club in the world on social media site Twitter.
Voetbal Primeur has distributed a report which shows the Top 10 clubs in world football who have the most Twitter followers.
Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid lead the way with the Catalan outfit attracting more than 11.5 million fans to their page @FCBarcelona and their arch rivals making @realmadrid the home to more than 10.8 million followers.
Surprisingly in third place is Turkish club Galatasaray who have more than 3.72 million people following. The Istanbul giants are marginally ahead of England's Arsenal while Chelsea find themselves with the fifth-most Twitter followers.
Another surprise results sees Gala's Turkish rivals Fenerbahce ahead of Liverpool, Manchester United, AC Milan and Manchester City on the list.
