Former West Ham United defender Tony Gale has spoken out AGAINST the move to the Olympic stadium.
He reckons the club will be unable to fill the 54,000-seater stadium and cash given by the council and government to fund the switch should have been used elsewhere.
"West Ham try to fill a 35,000- seater stadium each home game and advertise in London papers to sell seats - and we'll fill it probably six times a season," he told the Daily Star Sunday.
"To increase the capacity and say maybe it's going to be cheaper for fans to get in is wrong. How are they going to pay for the stadium?
"The government is involved and anybody who has been around that area might say the hospital and the schools probably needed it a little bit more than a professional football club."
