Tony Craig a big fan of former Millwall teammate Harry Kane - 'I can't speak highly enough of him'

Millwall skipper Tony Craig has hailed former teammate Harry Kane ahead of his side's FA Cup encounter against Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs welcome the Lions to White Hart Lane to contest the quarter-finals of the Cup on Sunday and Kane will be facing familiar opponents on the day, having spent time on loan at The Den back in 2012.

Millwall defender Craig played alongside Kane during the striker's brief spell with the club and ahead of the game, has praised the England international for his strong mentality as well as quality in front of goal.

Craig told the Daily Mail: "He was very level-headed and when he came here he did integrate with the Millwall way and into the group.

"He was an important part of the squad. He scored goals and that bred confidence.

"He always had that bit of quality and knew where the back of the net was. His work rate was second to none. He came in and settled quickly and he was one of the lads and what he has achieved is brilliant. I can't speak highly enough of him.

"Even in training he knew where the back of the net was – which is obviously hard to get.

"He is born with that; his movement and work rate. His confidence is sky high. I look forward to marking anyone. Sometimes you want to test yourself against the best. He is certainly up there."
