Former Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos can't wait to get started at Real Madrid.
Kroos made the move last week.
"First I won the title in Brazil and now it's official that I'm a Madrid player, I've very happy.
"It was very interesting to see the training facilities for the first time. I'm sure I will get to know the place a lot better.
"It's fantastic; I was very impressed with what I saw - the complex is very big and it was also great to meet the coach, I had already spoken with him beforehand and now I can't wait for August 5th to arrive so that I can start training with the squad and be ready to start playing."
Kroos admits chatting with coach Carlo Ancelotti before his signing ceremony.
"He told me that he is very happy to have me here, and that the transfer had gone as planned. He also said that he was very happy that in the end, I had decided to join Real Madrid. He said that he's looking forward to seeing me on August 5th when I will join the squad for training."
