Toni keen to leave Bayern Munich

Luca Toni is keen to get out of Bayern Munich and start afresh at a new club.

The Italy striker has fallen out of favour at the Allianz Arena under Louis van Gaal and is hoping for a move away from the German Bundesliga club so he gain regular first team football prior to next year's World Cup.

The 32-year old has been linked with several clubs including West Ham, Tottenham (who both expressed interest in the summer), Napoli and Roma but is unsure of where his future lies.

"I have no problems with the club and Bayern Munich fans but the coach prefers other players," he told Raidue.

"Fortunately soon the market will re-open. I will talk with the club because I don't like this situation.

"Napoli? It is an important club in Italy, however there are two or three teams that I like."

Toni's agent, Tullio Tinti, said he had not heard anything in regards to a move to Roma for his client.

"I have not had any contact with the leadership of Roma so there was no basis for negotiations," Tinti told laroma24.it.

"At the moment there isn't any news on this situation."
