The Togo FA are adamant Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor will be joining their African Nations Cup squad.
The Spurs striker was thought to be staying in England when he was said to have had a change of heart after a row emerged over unpaid bonus payments.
But Gabriel Ameyi selected Adebayor along with Stade Reims goalkeeper, Kossi Agassa, after they had been left off the list by coach Didier Six before last Wednesday's deadline for submission of the 23-man squad.
"I insisted to Didier Six on taking Adebayor and Agassa, especially after the meeting last week between Adebayor and President Faure Gnassingbe," Ameyi said in a statement on the Togolese Football Federation website.
