Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has stated his belief that Harry Kane is a better player now than he was last season.
Kane continued his recent resurgence by scoring a brace in Tottenham's 4-1 victory over West Ham United on Sunday and the striker has now managed an impressive seven goals in his last four Premier League appearances.
Pochettino has understandably been left pleased with his star man's performances and has gone on to state that the 22-year-old has now become an improved player this season due to the testing time he went through earlier in the campaign.
Pochettino said: "We never doubted Harry Kane. He showed last season that he is top scorer and a top player and he has a strong mentality.
"You know in football with a striker, you have a time when the player [finds it] difficult to score. But Harry today, I think he's a much better player than last season."
