Title charge: Ferguson orders double sessions for Man Utd players

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson won't tolerate slackers in their title charge.

Ferguson has stunned Old Trafford stars by introducing extra training sessions over the last week, says The Sun.

The United boss and his backroom staff have been holding morning and afternoon workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays for all first-team squad members not getting regular action.

In the past Fergie has only held double sessions in the pre-season, but is determined to keep his players as sharp as possible for the run-in.
