Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote wants to finish above Chelsea - so to wind up good friend Salomon Kalou.

The pair are Ivory Coast teammates.

Laughed Tiote: "I discussed it with Kalou. I told him we'll finish fourth and Chelsea seventh.

"He said 'OK, then, we'll see'. I suppose it shows the confidence I have in our team that I said it to him.

"If we keep working hard, everything's possible and we can go for fourth."
