Newcastle United captain Cheick Tiote has thanked Tim Krul for his performance in victory at Tottenham.
Krul made an incredible 14 saves at White Hart Lane, the highest tally in one game by a Premier League stopper for eight years.
Tiote said: "We just said thank you to him, he was the best on the pitch and we hope he continues like that.
"He is one of the best in the Premier League and if he continues like that, he will be one of the top, top goalkeepers."
