Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote says they must throw everything at Manchester City in tomorrow's Capital One Cup clash.

City head for St James' Park in the Capital One Cup fourth round on Wednesday evening before Chelsea follow them in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday in a tough double-header for Alan Pardew's men.

Tiote said: "It's going to be also a tough game, but we need to be ready for that because it's not going to be and easy game.

"After that, we have got Chelsea at home, so they are two big, tough games for us, but that's football.

"We are Newcastle, so we need to do everything right and try to win the next game."
