Tiote making his presence felt at Newcastle training
Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has revealed that Cheick Tiote has been throwing his weight around at training after his African Cup of Nations disappointment.
The Magpies midfielder was unsuccessful with the Ivory Coast in their penalty shootout in the final of the tournament, losing to Zambia, and Tiote has taken his frustrations back to Tyneside says the manager.
“That’s because of the way he trains. One or two have felt his presence! That’s in a good way!”“Everybody is fit. Cheick has come back on the training ground and lifted everything,” Pardew told The Chronicle.
