Cheik Tiote admits Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew lost his rag at halftime on Saturday.
Few could blame Pardew, with Newcastle 4-0 down, but the ranting worked with his team storming back to draw 4-4 in the second-half.
Tiote, who struck the stunning equaliser, revealed: "The manager was furious, shouting, and there were things thrown. He kept the same team because he said it was up to us."
Joey Barton added: "We were thinking double figures, they were that good."
