Tim Krul is delighted to have signed permanently with Brighton.
The former Newcastle United goalkeeper expressed his desire to compete for a starting position in the Premier League, after also signing a permanent deal.
He said, “That's what I'm here for now, just to show that I'm ready if the gaffer needs me. I'd love to be back playing in the Premier League, but Maty's [Ryan] a great goalkeeper.
“I love playing in England - I've always said that - and I want to stay playing in the Premier League for as long as possible.
“I've played almost 160 games in the Premier League and hopefully I can continue that with Brighton. I'm 29, so I've still got a good few years left in me.
“I was at Newcastle for 11 years and I loved my time there, but I'm looking forward to a new challenge and chapter in my career."
