Tijuana defender Egidio Arevalo Rios has signed for Palermo.
The Rosanero have coughed up a €3 million fee for the Uruguay international.
Rios, who has played for clubs such as Penarol, Danubio and Botafogo, won the 2011 Copa America with his country.
