San Jose Earthquakes have announced that tickets for their upcoming clash with LA Galaxy are selling fast.
The Quakes have already sold more than 35,000 tickets for the June 29 meeting at Stanford Stadium and expect to get near the club record of 50,391 they set last year at the same venue in a thrilling 4-3 triumph over the MLS champions.
"Last year was a magical night for the club with a great win, a memorable halftime show and one of the best fireworks shows in the Bay Area," said Earthquakes Club President Dave Kaval.
"We are excited to again honor the members of the Armed Forces at the match with a halftime that you won't want to miss. This event has really become the sporting event of the summer."
Lower bowl sideline, upper end zone seats and director's level seats are already sold out, but tickets remain in the upper deck and lower end zones.
