Tiatto’s comments will be motivation for McMaster

Queensland Roar goalkeeper Griffin McMaster will use comments made by teammate Danny Tiatto as motivation for the upcoming A-League finals.

Queensland Roar goalkeeper Griffin McMaster will use comments made by teammate Danny Tiatto as motivation for the upcoming A-League finals.

Tiatto revealed how he would prefer Liam Reddy in goals and feels less comfortable when McMaster is in the team but the 25-year old says the comments will not faze him.

“Everybody has an opinion and that is Danny’s. It’s water off a duck’s back to me,” McMaster said.

“It’s given me extra motivation, if anything, to go out and do even better. I’m not fazed by it at all.

“It will hopefully have a good effect on me. It’s kept me on my toes at training this week and made me even more determined to do well.”
The Roar face Central Coast Mariners in the first leg of the minor semi-final at Bluetongue Stadium on Friday 6 February.
