Tianjin Teda midfielder Damiano Tommasi dedicated his first goal in the Chinese Super League to the victims of the Italian earthquake disaster.

The former Roma man netted the first goal in Tianjin's 2-1 loss to Changsha Ginde on the weekend and said he wanted to dedicate to the people who died in L'Aquila last week.

"I would like to share this goal with the people suffered the terrible earthquake in Italy. But we lost in the end and it is not important anymore. In this situation, I couldn't be happy." said Tomassi after the match.
