Tianjin Teda put their past two league losses and their poor Asian Champions League form behind them to grab a vital three points away at Chengdu Blades on the weekend.
Hao Junmin scored the only goal of the encounter in the 67th minute to maintain Tianjin's position in second place on the Chinese Super League table.
The loss was the Blades' fourth on the trot and has them in a precarious position on the table where they sit last with just three points from the opening six matches.
