England and Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard suggest Raheem Sterling will become a top quality player for his country.
The 19-year old Jamaica-born Reds winger is in line for his second international appearance when the Three Lions meet Denmark at Wembley on Wednesday night and Gerrard is hoping he gets the opportunity to show the country's supporters exactly what he is capable of.
"The form he is in at the moment - he's the type of player you pay good money to go and see... the type of player that will get you off your seat," Gerrard told reporters.
"People looking at Raheem see him as a very small boy, see him maybe as a weak player. But he's the complete opposite. He's very strong, very robust and the pace he has got is electric.
"He's going to be a big player for this country for a long time. I'm just glad he's a Red."
Sterling made his England debut in a friendly against Sweden in November 2012 but had not been called up before Roy Hodgson included him in the 30-man squad for the Denmark fixture.
