Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez believes a three-game ban for Eden Hazard is enough of a penalty for the player.
The Belgian winger was shown a straight red card for kicking a ball-boy in last week's Capital One Cup semi-final against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium and although there could be an extended suspension for his act of violent conduct, Benitez suggests the club losing the player for three matches is harsh enough.
"At the moment, we will accept that three games is enough. So we will see what happens," he said after his side drew 2-2 with Brentford in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday.
"For a player that was in a cup competition, with this intensity and in the way that things are going on, I think that a three-game ban is enough.
"I have a lot of images but I think that, for a professional, and for the club, we have already lost the player at the end of the game, we will lose the player at least for three games. I think it's enough."
