New Inter Milan owner Erick Thohir has likened coach Walter Mazzarri to Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
Thohir met with football chiefs Marco Branca and Pier Ausilio on Monday.
"I got to know them better, to understand their strategies and their vision. Naturally there is a strategy we also have to discuss with Mazzarri on who is worth signing and who isn't. We'll evaluate how to move on the market.
"I think Mourinho is one of the best Coaches who has been at Inter, though naturally results are down to a combination of work between the Coach, management and players.
"Mourinho won the Treble in 2010. He's one of the best, but I see Mazzarri has a similar personality. I hope he can start laying the foundations to build a strong side over the next two to three years."
