Inter Milan president Erick Thohir says they plan to make three signings this summer.

The Nerazzurri finished fourth under Roberto Mancini this season, missing out on their stated objective of Champions League football.

“Mancini has another year left on his contract, he's a great Coach," Thohir told fans at Inter Club in Indonesia.

“There are some regrets, but lamenting them won't solve the problem. We have great faith in Mancini, we want to push him to do his best.

“We need two or three signings with a certain level of talent and charisma. Right now the squad lacks a bit of personality.

“We need players with good leadership to achieve our goals. We have important players like [Ivan] Perisic, [Geoffrey] Kondogbia and [Mauro] Icardi though, and we have to hold on to them."
