The Indonesian billionaire is in advanced talks to complete his takeover of the Nerazzurri.
Gazzetta dello Sport says before rubberstamping the Taider move, Inter president Massimo Moratti called Thohir to ask him to share the investment.
The Indonesian is due to return to Milan next to finalise his buyout of the club. Thohir will take a 65-70 per cent controlling stake.
