Inter Milan president Erick Thohir admits they're likely to buy in January.
Inter are reeling after their 3-0 defeat to Fiorentina on Sunday.
"Of course we will evaluate what we need to, for the moment I cannot say on the kind of players or positions that we will operate," Thohir said.
"Maybe we need a creative midfielder like Hernanes or Mateo Kovacic, or also a tall striker to exploit the high balls. However, I cannot say anything else because we have to evaluate it.
"The defence is alight, and also the midfield is in good shape with major players like Kovacic, Medel and Hernanes, who are working well."
