Pele has declared Barcelona ace Lionel Messi BETTER than Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. For many, Ronaldo outshone Messi last season as he inspired Real to the Spanish title.

But Pele insists: "Messi no doubt (is better). Cristiano Ronaldo is not as decisive, but also is a great player."

Asked to compare Messi with Santos dazzler Neymar, Pele added: "Player versus player, Neymar is more technical than Messi because he has more resources, comes out right, left. Messi is left handed, but has more experience and plays football in a more demanding league."
