Beijing Guoan boss Hong Yangshou says the form of his team against clubs from the Korea Republic in recent times should not be read into.
The Chinese Super League outfit are up against K-League club Suwon Bluewings in the Asian Champions League Round of 16 tonight but take a two-match losing streak against Korean club Seongnam Ilhwa into the clash.
Hong believes that statistic should have no bearing on the contest as he is confident his players have prepared well.
"It's second time to come to Korea Republic this year. I hope that we play well and get a good result in the beautiful city of Suwon," he said.
"It's true that we lost twice against another Korea Republic team but our performances were not losing ones.
"Especially at home, the possession rate was 63 per cent to 37 per cent in our favour and we had 15 shots to their four. We have prepared well for this game and are looking forward to it very much."
