Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick insists the win over FC Porto midweek has restored sanity at Old Trafford.
Prior to that important Champions League victory, the Red Devils form had begun to deteriorate but Carrick says the belief is now back and the sloppy defending is a thing of the past.
"When you have a couple of bad results people start questioning you," he said yesterday.
"But we have always known what we are capable of and last night we got back to what we do best.
"We defended well as a team and looked really solid. All of a sudden everything looks great again."
