Thievy Bifouma is determined to make the most of his move to West Bromwich Albion.
The young Frenchman arrives at the Hawthorns on a loan deal until the end of the season from Espanyol, with the Baggies having the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
"I am very happy to be here and I will do my best," he said, speaking to West Brom's official website.
"I have always loved English football. I spoke to some English players and also the head coach [Pepe Mel].
"I felt I was on the same wavelength as the head coach - and here I am.
"My style is very direct and very attacking and I have a very English style of play.
"It's a dream for me to play in England.
"I spent 20 days with an uncertain future wanting to play.
"Now I'm ready to show people who Thievy is."
