Thibaut Courtois says Chelsea could have title sewn up by Christmas!

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois reckons they could have the title sewn up by Christmas!

Antonio Conte's men have a three-point lead at the top of the Premier League after Saturday's 3-1 win at Manchester City.

It was Chelsea's eighth successive league win.

They now host West Brom before trips to struggling Sunderland and Crystal Palace.

And goalkeeper Courtois said: “In the next two weeks we have three games coming up against so-called lesser teams.

“If we can win these games we will have gone a long way towards winning the title.

“We have let in just two goals in eight league games, and we could well become champions like this. We have now won our last two games by coming from a goal down.

“We could get into danger if we stop doing our jobs properly, but all of us are working hard both on the ball and off it.

“The day we start thinking things will be easy for us, or think we don't need to run any more, we will be staring at a disappointment.

“But for the time being it feels good to have won away to a direct title rival in Manchester City. That was a good test for us."
