Real Madrid signing Thibaut Courtois has apologised to fans for his taunts during his time with Atletico Madrid.
The former Chelsea goalkeeper moved quickly to apologise for some chanting against his new employers from when he was an Atletico Madrid player.
When questioned, he didn't hesitate in his response.
"At that time I was very young," he said to reporters. "I let myself go for the moment, but I aske for forgiveness as it's not typical of me.
"I will give everything for the shield of Madrid."
Courtois went on to say that if he played the European Super Cup against Atletico, it would be a "special" game.
