Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara admits they cannot afford to slip up against Athletic Bilbao.

Second-placed Atletico are just three points off the top, though, and Thiago admitted Barca have to win if they want to benefit from the result in the other game.

"We're in good shape and we want to finish the year with the same confidence as we have now," he said.

"Any result between Real Madrid and Atlético can benefit us as long as we win our own match."
