AC Milan defender Thiago Silva has urged his club not to allow Santos star Paulo Henrique Ganso move to a rival team. Milan have pulled back from negotiations for the attacker.
"I have talked to Ganso and he is recovering in record time from his muscle strain," Silva told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "He wants to play in the Copa America and he wants Milan.
"I have read that the deal has come to a stop. I have read that he may arrive in December, but that's no good, Ganso must be taken now. This is the right time.
"To me, it seems like Milan have very clear ideas on how to strengthen the squad. Next year we will try to win everything.
"With the right purchases, we won't feel envious of Barcelona. That's why I said that we must not lose any time with Ganso."
