PSG defender Thiago Silva isn't surprised by Samuel Umtiti's impact at Barcelona.

The defender left Lyon for Barca last summer.

Ahead of their Champions League clash, Thiago Silva said: "I'm not surprised what happens to him.

"He showed great qualities when he played at OL. He has a great personality, great technique and great play reading. I have always loved the way he plays.

"There is hardly a left-sided defender with as high a quality as him. He arrived in Barcelona and quickly joined the team as a starter."
