Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admitted there was a chilling quiet inside the belly of the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.
German giants Bayern were cruelly tossed out of the Champions League on away goals despite defeating Atletico Madrid 2-1 in the semi-final second leg.
Pep Guardiola's side dominated proceedings at home but were unable to overcome Diego Simeone's stubborn Atleti side which was the cause of the devastated reaction of the players.
"There's a deadly silence in the changing room," said Rummenigge.
Bayern, however, get the chance to lift their 26th Bundesliga title if they can beat Ingolstadt on the weekend.
"We have to lick our wounds and go again on Saturday," the chief added.
