Theoklitos endures nightmare start to Norwich City career

Former Melbourne Victory goalkeeper has experienced a horror start to his career with Norwich City, letting in seven goals on debut. The highly-fancied League One outfit were shell-shocked by Colchester United, losing 7-1 at home in front of 25,217 fans.

Theoklitos made a shaky start when he missed a punch from a poor John Otsemobor back pass, allowing Colchester's Kevin Lisbie to open the scoring.

It didn't get any better for 'Theo', as the U's conjured four more first-half goals to go into the break 5-0 up.

The Canaries restored some sanity with a 72nd minute goal through Cody McDonald but Colchester were not done and added two more to inflict a shattering defeat on the team who had to endure being relegated from the Championship last term.
