Ryan Giggs believes that the successful European Championships campaign marks the start of a new era for Welsh football.
Wales' fairy tale at Euro2016 was brought to an end following a 2-0 semi-final defeat at the hands of Portugal on Wednesday night but despite the exit, the Dragons can be very proud of their exploits in France.
Former Welsh international Giggs was understandably happy with how Chris Coleman's side performed during the tournament and has stated that the Euros will mark the new 'beginning of Welsh football'.
Manchester United legend Giggs said on ITV: "You can only say good things about this Welsh side, what they've achieved and done in this tournament.
"It's the end of tournament but the beginning of Welsh football being a force to be reckoned with."
