Michael Essien has returned to Chelsea.
The Ghanaian midfielder, affectionately known as 'The Bison', is back training with Antonio Conte's Blues.
The 33-year-old recently left Greek club Panathinaikos and is training with his former club in a bid to keep fit. He also took part in a 2-1 friendly win over Brentford at Cobham on Wednesday night.
However, there is no deal in place for Essien who is on the hunt for a new club following stints with AC Milan and Panathinaikos since his 2014 Chelsea exit.
During his time at Stamford Bridge, Essien was influential in helping the West London outfit win two Premier League titles, the Champions League, four FA Cups and the League Cup.
