Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has been handed a staggering £150 MILLION transfer warchest by club owner Thaksin Shinawatra.
The Sunday Mirror says Eriksson will be handed an amazing £150million transfer fund to fast-track Manchester City into the Champions League.
City owner Thaksin Shinawatra is so excited by his first few months in control - and so impressed by the squad Eriksson pulled together before the season began - that he has freed up a fortune.
The former Thai Prime Minister spent £90m to buy the club and gave boss Eriksson £40m to bring in eight new players.
Shinawatra outlined his plan at a finance meeting with his directors and chief executive Alistair Mackintosh in London last Friday.
