Thailand and Jordan shared the spoils in their opening Asian Cup qualifying match.

Played at Jordan's Amman International Stadium, both sides had limited opportunities, the closest being when Thailand's Suchao Nutnum hit the upright in the 28th minute.

Jordan almost snatched a late winner through Amer Deeb but his header fell wide of the mark and Al Saify's shot went past the post deep into injury time.
