Thiago Motta had his first training session with new club Atletico Madrid yesterday.

The former Barcelona midfielder worked with his new teammates in a behind-closed-doors session under the watchful eye of coach Javier Aguirre.

"He hasn't played many minutes in preseason," said Aguirre. "But with international week this week, it will be perfect for him to adjust to our ways."
