Muangthong United striker Teerasil Dangda has joined Spanish La Liga side UD Almeria on loan.
The prolific 25-year old Thailand international will spend the rest of the season in Andalusia in a deal which includes the option of a permanent move this European summer.
Dangda joined Manchester City briefly in 2008 before work permit problems uprooted the shift and also trialled with Atletico Madrid last year.
Almeria's official website describes Dangda as a versatile attacker who likes to bring his teammates into the game.
"He can play as the main reference point up front, as a second striker, as an attacking midfielder and on either wing," Almeria said.
"He has great quality on the ball, he is quick, skillful and has great vision, which as well as scoring allows him to make many assists for his team mates."
