Chonburi FC midfielder Surat Sukha is tipped to sign with A-League champions Melbourne Victory. The 26-year old has been quoted in the Bangkok Post as saying, "very happy that I will be the first Thai player to play in Australia's top football league.
"I hope this will be the first step for other Thai players to follow."
Although the deal has not yet been confirmed, it seems almost certain to go ahead, meaning Sukha will become the second player the Victory have signed from Chonburi after Brazilian striker Ney Fabiano joined the club last year.
