The Football League has given a consortium from Thailand the green light to buy Reading Football Club, according to Sky Sports. The club's chairman, Sir John Madejski, has been trying to sell the Championship club for around a year and negotiations with the Thai consortium have been going on for some months.
There has been no official comment from the Royals or Madejski, who Sky sources understand will retain a role at the club.
