Carlos Tevez is ready to take on Manchester City in his battle to get a move to AC Milan.
The Sunday Mirror says the Argentine striker walked away from a possible switch to Paris St Germain because he did not want to play in France - even though they were willing to match City's £25millon valuation.
He is now ready to test City's resolve not to allow him to join Milan in a loan deal, with just nine days left to go of the transfer window.
A source close to the Tevez camp revealed: "Negotiations are a lot further advanced with AC Milan.
"But Carlos will not be going anywhere unless the move is absolutely right for him.""However, Carlos is also open to listening to what Inter have to offer now he has decided that Paris is not an option for him.
