Carlos Tevez is expected to deliver his answer to Manchester United next week over whether he will be staying at Old Trafford.
The Times says Tévez will make a decision on his future within the next seven days after Manchester United made the Argentina striker a take-it-or-leave-it offer yesterday.
Kia Joorabchian, the businessman whose companies own the economic rights to Tévez, spent two hours in "cordial" talks at Old Trafford with David Gill, the United chief executive, who has agreed to pay the £25.5 million required to secure the player's permanent signing after accepting defeat in his efforts to drive down the price.
