Roberto Mancini feels Carlos Tevez will need at least two weeks before he can return to the Manchester City first team.
The Argentine stepped out in a reserves match during the week upon his return to England after a three-month absence but Mancini has made it clear he will need time to get to a good level of match fitness before he is considered again.
"In these two weeks it is important he plays two or three games with the reserves. He needs to play on a big pitch.
"For him it is like pre-season, after three months it is not easy to play.
"At this moment he can't play. Maybe in two weeks he could be ready.""I think he needs a minimum of another two weeks," he said.
