Tevez unplayable when in that sort of mood - Man City's Lescott

Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott suggests Carlos Tevez is unplayable when he gets in the scoring mood he was in on the weekend.

The Argentine scored a hat-trick as City hammered Barnsley 5-0 in the FA Cup quarter-finals and Lescott was full of praise for his brilliant teammate.

"His performance doesn't surprise me, to be honest. He has been our most consistent player since I joined the club," Lescott told the club's official website.

"In his first two years he carried the team on his back. We won a lot of games by one goal, and that was down to Carlos - when he plays like that he is unplayable."
